Markets, Massages, and Fruit January 13th 2012 The past several days we have spent in Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand. Chiang Mai is a popular tourist destination nestled in the low mountains of Thailand. It is a medium sized town of probably 150,000 people. The town itself has a city center of a few square kilometers that is surrounded by a moat with remnants of the brick wall that sat behind the moat still visible today.

My wife, Amy, and I have had a dream to spend an extended amount of time traveling around the world. After saving for years our dream became reality and we left our jobs in June of 2011. We spent the majority of July and August with family in northern Wisconsin and enjoyed everyday we could on Lake Superior.
