There were actually 3 courtyards. In the first, they set up a bonfire in the middle to keep the monks warm. Not much spoken. Not much eye contact. So tranquil. So heavenly peaceful.

I would have thought I stepped into my own imagination. My own dream. This trip to Bhutan is so markedly off the usual, beaten paths. Not being melodramatic, but Bhutan is truly one fairyland.
