So after plenty of offers we got ourselves a houseboat for the night. Allepey is the main place from which to explore the backwaters of Kerala and known as the Venice of the East we were pretty excited. Welcome to our travelblog site. Over the next 12 months keep up to date with all our adventures as we try to make it around the world. Starting off by flying to Delhi on the 14th September 2006, we are hoping to make it through as many places as our money will take us.
