Well the fine folks in Bangkok would not switch my visa this time. Seems they have updated the requirements and I need to go back AGAIN with various additional documents. On the bright side, I now have another opportunity to go to the lovely and bustling street markets and get overcharged because I'm white. Just let them try me next time. Puh!
