Milford Sound en The West Coast Wederom was de planning weer perfect want op de dag dat we naar Milford Sound gingen, was de weg net weer voor de eerst open (na 9,5 dag dicht te zijn geweest). Eerste stop was in het dorpje Te Anau vanwaar de enige weg naar Milford Sound begint. Het begin van de route was al heel mooi, maar het 2e gedeelte nog veel mooier.
