Yesterday was our first day alone in Bonn. Margie and her fantastic translation skills got on a train to the airport and then on to America along with her Daughter Janina, grandsons in tow. Peter and Linda live in Arizona. Our travels are obviously timed to get out during the sweltering summer months. Currently we are traveling in and around Germany for the entire month of August. Fortunately, my sister Margie, her Daughter, and two grandsons are staying in our home in Arizona while we guest at her beautiful home in Bonn for a homebase while traveling in Europe. Our current planned itinerary is LA to Frankfurt, then to Bonn and on to Munich, Prague, Berlin, Amsterdam, and, time permitting, Budapest.
