Ah, Bariloche, my home away from home. I'd visited in February and March, summer and then in mid-May, fall and had hoped to spend winter there as snow covered its picturesque log and stone buildings, photogenically set on the 100-km long Lake Nahuel Huapi. I´m a one-way ticket, slow traveler, relishing the freedom of the open road and trusting serendipity to guide my journey. When I was younger, I used to travel for a year at a time.
