Our youngest gardener gets to work!

At 10 years old Yeser convinced his parents to let him start his own vegetable garden. After success in his home garden he convinced his classmates and teachers to start a garden at their school!

The project I have worked most closely with is ¨huertos familiares¨ or Family Vegetable Gardens. This project involves traveling to the rural communities outside of Managua and working with the families to grow their own fruits and vegetables.
