FRIDAY 8TH JULY Garden work abandoned for the day as so much rain fell yesterday evening and last night. "Elliam" - it's a clumsy amalgamation of Elaine and William - although no-one ever calls me William, I'm Bill. So a pretty rubbish name really, but hey, that's what we've got and there's no changing it. The lovely wife Elaine and I are taking time out to see something of the world by travelling through SE Asia, Oceania and S America, starting Sept 2011. We've done some tourist travel before, but this is our first proper travelling adventure.
