The second stop of the day was the Dickerson Park Zoo. Contrary to other reviews I had read that said the zoo was really small, I found it was a decent size, though not as big as the Kansas City Zoo. I like things to be simple. I’m not into fancy hotels or dining at expensive restaurants. I’d be much happier pitching a tent and cooking burgers over an open fire than doing those things. Being outdoors is a way to find contentment that cannot be found in the hustle of our daily lives.
