Eagle's Nest

This is an active Eagle's Nest near Point Alava. This is a favored spot for salmon fishing. In the 1980's fishermen would catch 100,000 plus for the season.

Misty Fjords

Toady, we took a catamaran tour of the 2.1 million-acre Misty Fjords National Monument Wilderness Area. Misty Fjords was established in 1980 (Jimmy Carter?) by the passage of the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act.
