Day 4 - Plateliai to Taurage May 11th 2011 On Wednesday morning we had a 70+ mile ride south to Taurage. We had the most panoramic start of the trip (see the photos), starting from the jetty on Lake Plateliai, which is the cleanest lake in Lithuania.

Over the past two years I have become a keen cyclist and am using this interest to get myself in shape and raise money for a very worthwhile charity, namely Rugute (http://www.rugute.lt/en). I can't speak too highly of this Lithuanian charity which does so much work for young children and their families and it is the least I can do to help raise a little money to support their cause.
