Sunday, May 30th: Sadly, it was time to leave my Bavarian family, and head up north to where my other uncle lives. Normally the drive would take about 5 ½ hours, but we wanted to stretch it out to two days, and drive through and explore the Black Forest (Schwartzenwald), Switzerland, France and Luxembourg. I am a married woman with one child, who had caught the travel bug as a young girl. Since my Mom is from Germany, I have traveled to Germany and Luxembourg a few times as a child. My last time to Germany was when I was 17 years old. I have traveled to many places since and look forward to placing the pins in the map of all the places I have visited.
