Arh Manila, you strange, strange little place! Dave summed the city up as 'a real life Grand Theft Auto'. With it's hispanic vibe, dingy streets, and pimped-out 'Jeepney' buses, I don't think he's too far off! We stayed in a fairly standard hotel in Ermita, which is classed as one of the tourist areas. Watos on tour

We first went to Thailand in 2006 and fell in love with the relaxed, candlelit vibe of the Phi Phi islands. Well, a lot's changed in four years. The exchange rate has almost halved which means double the price for beer (bad times), but hopefully the things that first attracted us to this part of the world still remain.
