This lovely crab is everywhere in the Galapagos Islands. The people had to stop eating them for food and now the population is healthy again. Named the Sally Lightfoot Crab.

Hello to Everyone. The Galapagos Islands are 1000km from the Ecuadorian mainland and are otherworldly! Almost like going back in time to the prehistoric period, the wildlife is so strangely tame - it is almost surreal. Most of the flora and fauna are endemic to the islands too.
