Placement Visit Week! March 16th 2011
Well the week so far has been brilliant!
I boarded my bus from Kompang Cham on Sunday morning, all set for the 8hr bus journey - however, I was not set for 8hrs of Ka'mai karaoke videos on the flat screen above my head! So, from February 2011 until April 2013, I am embarking on a 2 year voluntary placement via VSO in Cambodia. I will be working as a Hospital Management Adviser in a North-Western province called Banteay Meanchey, providing help and support to the clinical and administrative directors of hospitals and health centres - challenges and excitement is abound!
