It's a few minutes before sunrise (6:20 a.m.) and I'm still in my sleeping bag because the temperature in my tent is 46 degrees. A 68-year-old BMW rider with more than 300,000 BMW miles in my mirrors, I'm a retired Indianapolis newspaperman now living in northeast Arkansas where the only curvy roads are on Crowley's Ridge.
