I took my time about loading, hoping the rising sun would warm the Gulf Coast landscape quickly. A 68-year-old BMW rider with more than 300,000 BMW miles in my mirrors, I'm a retired Indianapolis newspaperman now living in northeast Arkansas where the only curvy roads are on Crowley's Ridge.
