If I am not mistaken, there is quite a bit of mythological history behind this rock? something to do, with mermaids, or ( watermen) and a girl who fell in love with one of them correct? apparently the locals still believe they can hear her crying out her love for him at night? and that the hole is meant to be there gateway to love?? something along those lines? maybe im thinking of a different rock formation but its quite something to forget?
