After a day of rest, I decided it was time to head off and go to Merida. Only I had decided to opt for the first class bus to ensure toilets availability as I wasn't back to functioning normally yet. So I got a colectivo for 5.5 pesos to the bus station (I could have walked to the 2nd class station but not to the 1st class) and got my ticket for the 10 am bus (152 pesos against 90 for 2nd class). ... read more
