Took a day trip to Amarapura. Dropped off on the side of the road, but managed to find our way through alleyways to the market and bridge. Main reason to come is the Ubein Bridge. It is a 1.2 km Teakwood bridge built some 200 years ago. There are 1060 posts elevating the bridge to accommodate the rising waters of the lake in the wet season.
