Then I upped the exposure which brought the riverside in a little better but the castle is now an unnatural color. I realize that the physics of light and photography dictate that what is in focus and properly exposed in the foreground means the backdrop will be less focused and over or under-exposed, but why can't a camera just see things the way our eyes do? I guess a tripod would've helped. I need to remember to bring it with me.
