Saturday 9 October 2010 - My English friend Ned visited Hanoi to see his old friends and attend the 1000th year anniversary of the city. He wanted to see the countryside, so we rented a taxi and traveled 40km to Quốc Oai commune. Ned has been to Vietnam on 12 trips, previously on business as he worked for EU projects.
