Cottages By the Lake

Years ago, we stayed in one of these cottages . A pair of flutist and violinist occupied the next cottage, and we woke up each morning to a 'recital' of this pair. No such luck this time around, but the place still looks enchanting.

Villa Escudero: A Real Farmville

It is a long weekend and we took the chance to visit Villa Escudero where a vast coconut plantation estate has been converted into a tourist destination south of Manila.
