Istanbul - First step on the tourist trail August 7th 2010 Here we are! After weeks of wrapping up our London lives for the journey back to New Zealand, we are here in Istanbul. Three days of travel out of 140, already we are pretty knackered! We're definately going to feel like a cup of tea and a sit down by the 140th day!

A couple of mid 20 year olds, started this blog back in 2006. We left our homeland of New Zealand and set off on our trip of a lifetime.
These entries follow our travels from our New Zealand to London and back again. Total geeks - no Las Vegas or full moon parties here. We used '1001 Natural wonders' to plan our trips. Sometimes riding 5 hours on the back of a motorbike to see a waterfall or random rock formation.
