Hello Everyone, Well as you can see we're still in Dawson awaiting road opening to Alaska. We spent our time cleaning and maintaining the bikes today as well as visiting dredge number 4, a national historic site about 12kms out of town. It's HUGE ....see photos. A motorcycle trip into northern Canada and Alaska. Basically I'm hoping to acheive the two most northerly points accessible by road in both Canada and the USA in the same month. This journey will take me to Inuvik in the North West Territories via the Dempster Highway and then on to Prudhoe Bay/Deadhorse Alaska via the Dalton highway. The bike and I will travel twice out of treeline and twice into the arctic Circle! This whole trip is also raising cash for the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT & Nunavut.
