I now know how Creedence Clearwater Revival came up with the song "Stuck in Lodi". Although i have been to Lodi and Dawson is a far better place to be stuck in. Basically the "top of the World Highway" is washed out again and the Yanks are trying vigorously to fix it as i type. A motorcycle trip into northern Canada and Alaska. Basically I'm hoping to acheive the two most northerly points accessible by road in both Canada and the USA in the same month. This journey will take me to Inuvik in the North West Territories via the Dempster Highway and then on to Prudhoe Bay/Deadhorse Alaska via the Dalton highway. The bike and I will travel twice out of treeline and twice into the arctic Circle! This whole trip is also raising cash for the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT & Nunavut.
