Ciao a tutti! I've been WWOOFing in Perledo which is on the East shore of Lake Como (yes, where George Clooney has a house), above Varenna. It's incredibly beautiful, as you can see. This farm is much like my favorite in Rivalta in that they grow fruits, vegetables, and has chickens for eggs which they sell at markets. Well, I still don't have a real job and I haven't decided what I want to study in grad school yet, so I'm heading back to Europe to be happy again. I will be mostly WWOOFing (world wide opportunities on organic farms) in Italy, while improving my language skills and making some academic contacts for a possible Fulbright scholarship. I'll probably do some more traveling to other countries, too. But, I might have to come back early for a job. It's a one way ticket and largely unplanned, so I'll just wait and see where I end up... ... full info
