South Downs Way - Lewes to Alfriston

Staying at a nice B&B in Lewes not too far from the town centre. It is very similar to Totnes in that it has a castle, its own pound and a high street on a hill. The town appears to be dominated by the local brewery known as Harvey & Son and this evening I am off to the pub known as Harveys for a bite to eat.
