Leaving Savannakhet we head East to the Vietnam border at Dansavanh armed with a visa and a fist full of USD. Ness and I have always hungered to see the world but in our own separate lives circumstance has always prevented us for one reason or another. I remember sitting atop this statue in 1970 when I was with the 101st airborne in 1970. What information do you have about it?
