Week 1 - Auckland, Northlands & Cape Reinga June 1st 2010 Well we finally started our trip, although the volcanic ash cloud did try and stop us. The drive up to the airport was nail biting at times as we were unaware if our flight was on until we arrived at Heathrow! But we were on our way!

We start our journey on the 17th May 2010 and are due to return to the UK on the 15th May 2011. We have both had enough with the hussle and bussle of working life and have decided to re-live our younger days by becoming travellers . . . some say we're having a mid twenties crisis!
