Out of Our Price Range

The owner of our B&B, Kathryn. thought we'd enjoy a fancy meal for New Year's Eve and recommended the Golden Fleece, an old historic inne. It looked welcoming and very nice inside, but when we saw the prices on the outside menu, we walked on by.

Day Eight - Heading South of the Border

Another day with an early start. This would be the longest drive of the trip so far and we needed to make a number of stops along the way yet still arrive at our destination before the New Year's revelers got out in full force.
