Formation Flying Creates Interest In Aviation By The General Public
I always try to get to every flight demonstration and formation flying event I can find, and as a pilot have always enjoyed these exhibitions. But the first formation flying took place with birds, and one wonders how those starlings that fly in huge formations avoid colliding with one another.
