Bristlecone pine trees can survive in shallow soil at high altitude. When the trunk dies another branch can take over and become a new trunk. This tree had been alive for 1,600 years.
Day 7&8 - Utah August 10th 2006 The past two days have certainly been chock full -o- scenic goodness! Aaron and Johanna have been happily married for two years. Aaron has been working hard and saving up vacation time for nearly a year.
