What a hectic day. We left Te Anau soon after 7 in a deluge but having learnt that unlike back home this doesn't mean anything for the rest of the day we chased snippets of blue sky back towards QT and then the Central Otago wine trail - the home of the best Pinot Noirs. We've been planning to do this trip for years but somehow never got around to it until now... We've spent hours planning and researching, Daz reading all the guide books and Loz trawling the net...
