Confucius' Temple is a commercial area in the centre of Nanjing that is festooned in lights and lanterns as only the Chinese can! With me are my friends Vivian ( my Chinese co teacher with closed eyes!) and Tracy (our weekend host). Tracey teaches physics and is one of the many staff from Nanjing Normal University based at Taizhou College of Nanjing Normal University at a nearby campus.
