Frühmorgens fuhren wir mit der Autofähre nach Magnetic Island. Die Fährenüberfahrt dauerte ca. 30 min. Magnetic Island ist eine 52 km² große Insel mit etwa 2.100 Einwohnern und gehört zum Stadtgebiet von Townsville.
