memories of Vietnam
I did two tours in Vietnam ('65-66, '67-68), one with a rifle company and the second with the 5th Special Forces Gp. Got a bit banged up right at the end of the 2d tour, but will always the country and its remarkably resilient people fondly, and always enjoy this young lady's posts. Would love to go back but doubt that I could survive the required eighteen hours in the air in my state of advanced dotage.
