I arrived by bus...and left by boat.... The night before the storm The rain did not stop ALL night whilst we were on board the night bus from Nha Trang. By the early hours, the whole bus was awake watching the storm outside, as we had to stop for fallen trees and hanging wires. I moved to Hong Kong in August 2007 with the intention of staying for 9 months...until I left eight and a half years later....I finally made a move from HK and spent 2016 in Sydney, Australia. 2017 has included Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, Peru, Ireland and Sweden. My favourite adventure: I went travelling in Asia and Europe for six months, taking the Trans-Siberian railway back to England. We managed to get from Thailand to London with no airplanes!
