My home is Abbotsford, BC, Canada. I started global traveling relatively late in life, though I had done a lot of touring around North America prior. In April, 2007 I trekked to Everest Base Camp in Nepal (with Peregrine), and in April 2008 did a tour of Costa Rica (with Tucan). In March, 2009 I went on an overland trip with Dragoman to Africa (Capetown to Vic Falls) to see sand dunes, wildlife, deltas, traditional people, etc. It is on that trip that I started blogging.
