OK, so no business with my friend in Chengdu without trying the real thing! HUO GUO - hot pot Best ones come from this area, although the most praised hotpot is from ChongQing. Chengdu however has it's own version (they have their own version on everything, I suppose) that is putting pieces of food into the pot by using long wooden sticks.
