Off to Kalyango! June 23rd 2006 It seems an age since our training at Sheffield, and yet it was only last weekend! Once back at school I've been submerged in rehearsals for our production of 'Oliver!' but have made good use of internet shopping for my Ugandan flag, wind up radio and several bottles of mosquito repellent. I am spending this summer working for Link Community Development in rural Uganda. I shall be living with a family and working at Kalyango Primary School. The aim of the project is to share skills, knowledge and experiences for the mutual benefit of the African school and also schools back in the UK.
