Today Caro, Joao and I went to watch the Brasilian football match at Tobias´home. It was his 27 birthday and he invited everyone over to his place for a BBQ and to watch the game and to drink beer. Circumlocutorily

Days before leaving to Belo Horizonte, Brazil, on an IAESTE internship program a good friend of mine, Hugh, wrote in to Rex Murphy's Cross Country Check-up. He commented on the disagreement between the Prime Minister and the Ottawa Press Gallery using the word "circumlocutorily" (sound it out) to express the way Stephen Harper answered the press's questions. The word stumped Mr. Murphy, quoting "I'll have to get back to you on that one."
