There I met Carlos, a friendly man who lived on the ridge just below and made a living selling artasinal goods and Gallo T-shirts to toursits. He obviously knew my tipe. He asked right away, where I was from and whether I was going to Argentina. Road less travelled?

After a rather uneventful traverse of Guatemala City I found my way to the Interamericana highway and made my way higher and higher into the highland volcano country.
