actually, later found out that there are no tarantulas here, just really huge, ugly, scarry, spiders that look like tarantulas...what a relief right?these two hobbits were getting hungry
weekend in Jarabacoa April 17th 2005 I went to Jarabacoa this past weekend and had a blast. I love it up there. It brings back memories of growing up in rural Alaska with the mountains and country. just living in the Dominican Republic, taking it easy i guess. i am teaching english down here and learning spanish. it has been pretty cool so far--the usual for extranjeros--wallet stolen, embarressing situations when you said something you didn't want to, getting yelled at for no reason. anyway, if you ever go to the dr, make sure you check out some of these sites, they are worth it.... full info
