One Big Buddha

This statue was huge! Jeff told me that the last time he saw this it was painted gold, but for some reason was now brown. In front of the statue were foam pads on the ground where the locals were able to pay their respects.

After a 8536km plane ride overseas to Beijing, 1058km plane ride north to Harbin, and an hour and a half train (couldn't find the distance on Google) up to Daqing, I'm finally here!
