The story so far... We sold our house in the UK back in 2005 to finance a round-the-world trip that would take us to 16 countries in 21 months. 6 of those 21 months were spent in New Zealand, during which time we fell in love with the country and its people; we even got married here! We went back to the UK at the end of June 2007 but didn't quite settle, so in March 2008 we applied for permanent residence in NZ and this was granted on the 08/08/08.
