Nell standing in the doorway of one of the Catacombs on outskirts of rome. We visited one that had Royalty buried. Others contained Christians from the Colosseum orgies.

Day 13 Wednesday Patricia Dorsey Murphy Rome Clear cool This morning we toured around … went into the audience hall to see the Pope. Saw him only briefly. Had several things blessed. Saw the Pieta and Moses by Michelangelo. The Sistine Chapel..the Catacombs..very busy day. Supposed to go to Tivoli Gardens tonight, but we may not go.
