Arriving in the grasslands

We were welcomed by a crew of Mongolian people. They sang songs and did a traditional welcome. We had to drink this alcohol--bai jiu like stuff.

This past weekend was Duan Wu (Dragon Boat Festival) in China. As a national holiday, we got a four day weekend off from school.
