Well, I finally got on the road about 10:30 AM Friday, a little later than I was hoping. My buddy Bryan stopped by to wish me well and loan me his tent and 2 sleeping bags. I worked over 40 years with the dream that some day I would have the chance to enjoy the freedom of retirement at a relatively early age. I was fortunate enough to achieve it in 2005.
